Seeing my girl is a SG and working on this project I figured Id post here. We could use a few more Suicide Girls to bartend at Burning Man as well so contact me if you can.

Blood Vessel Press Release February 07

The Blood Vessel needs your help getting to the playa. Not only do we bring the well wishes to the departed at the Temple Burn but we also act as a mobile watering hole and the Black Rock Beacon’s paper distribution. This is a simple call out for donations to start working on the coffins and metal sculpture.

At present the progress is good. First there was the initial purchase of the base vehicle, a 71 Caddy Hearse. Then we started early to sort out mechanical issues. The transmission presently is sitting on the bench getting new seals to insure soundness and reliability on the playas unforgiving alkaline environment. Meanwhile, some minor bodywork has been completed just to give it a rough but pleasing aesthetic appeal. The actual art will start when we have generated enough funds hence why we need your help. So if you can spare $10, $25 or more we’d appreciate it ever so much and make this into a reality. Donations can be sent via check or money order to: Lancelot Smith c/o The Blood Vessel 908 Jansen Ave, San Jose CA 95125 or pay pal to: SoCalLegalVideo@yahoo .com .

We also have a wish list of; 5 shade structures, coffins, folding chairs, & tuperware tables. Contact me at SoCalLegalVideo@yahoo.com

The Blood Vessel’s web site will be up February 23rd 2007, come give us a visit at: www.bloodvessel.org

Or check out the Tribe "The Blood Vessel (an art project)"

Again thanks for your support!

Yep we're at it again! A fundraiser for the Blood Vessel. The Blood Vessel is a 1971 side loading MM hearse thats being playafied, art carafied and pulling the Last Caress, the hugest coffin in the world. Its uses are to take the well wishes of the departed for those burners in attendance of the Temple Burn or those that cannot come. We are building coffins for people to place inside a folded origami crane with written well wishes and good byes. In addition we deliver The Black Rock Beacon newspaper to the far reaches of Burning Man.
