Blood Vessel Press Release February 07


The Blood Vessel needs your help getting to the playa. Not only do we bring the well wishes to the departed at the Temple Burn but we also act as a mobile watering hole and the Black Rock Beacon’s paper distribution. This is a simple call out for donations to start working on the coffins and metal sculpture.

At present the progress is good. First there was the initial purchase of the base vehicle, a 71 Caddy Hearse. Then we started early to sort out mechanical issues. The transmission presently is sitting on the bench getting new seals to insure soundness and reliability on the playas unforgiving alkaline environment. Meanwhile, some minor bodywork has been completed just to give it a rough but pleasing aesthetic appeal. The actual art will start when we have generated enough funds hence why we need your help. So if you can spare $10, $25 or more we’d appreciate it ever so much and make this into a reality.
